Naltar Valley is located near Hunza, Gilgit Baltistan. 40 km away from Gilgit.
There is a “Wildlife Sanctuary” which was created on November 22, 1975, and joins two protected areas “Pakora Game Reserve” and “Sher Quillah Game Reserve”.
The forest cover of Naltar is vaster than other areas of the country which makes it unique. Firstly, The alpine ibex, the snow leopard, the grey wolf, the brown bear, the beech marten, and the red fox are present there. Secondly, 35 species of birds have been recorded in “Wildlife Sanctuary”. Moreover, In the evening as sunlight gradually disappears, residents of valley return to their homes. Stars begin to emerge. There is a “Ski Resort” which is run by “Pakistan Air Force”. Naltar offers skiing in Winters. Moreover, ski lifts take skiers on the top of the slope. Neelum Valley located in “Azad Kashmir” and stretches out 240 km. It hosts several brooks, forests, mountains, freshwater streams, and rivers.
Firstly, there is a tourist spot named Arang Kel (village). It is located on the hilltop above Kel. Secondly, “Dowarian” (village) is located 22km away from the Neelum River. Furthermore, One more lake is famous in a Neelum Valley called “Halmat” and it is 34 km away from Kel. In Neelum Valley “Kel” is the most famous village.
“Dhani Waterfall” is the highest waterfall in Neelum Valley. Above all, “Ratti Galli Lake” is a famous spot near Neelum Valley.
3. Shangrila resort, Skardu:
Skardu is the central valley of Gilgit Baltistan. Furthermore, in the seven-hours journey, several streams, springs, and hospitality of the local people will greet you.
