Sazgar company is all set for the showcasing event of its electric 3-wheeler vehicle on 24, Jan 2020. According to the details, this event will be held at the Sazgar car plant located at Sundar Road in Lahore. So, this event will be organized by the Ministry of Climate Change in collaboration with the Board of Investment and Sazgar Engineering Works Limited. Moreover, it will be an exciting event.

Government of Pakistan Reaction
The government of Pakistan aims to promote electric vehicles in Pakistan. So, the government has also decided to convert CNG stations into electric vehicle charging stations to promote the electric culture. The Sazgar company claimed that they will start the commercial production of electric three-wheeler vehicles after the approval of Electric Vehicle policy by the government.
Moreover, the target of Pakistan’s Government is;
- Firstly, convert 30 percent of vehicles into electric.
• Then, 3000 CNG stations to be transformed into electric vehicle charging stations.
• 100,000 cars and 500,000 bikes and rickshaws converted to electric in the next 4 years.

Advantages of Electric Vehicles
Electric vehicles do not produce smoke and are cleaner than CNG vehicles. So, these vehicles do not cause noise pollution and cut fuel costs as well. Electric Vehicles in Pakistan can solve problems like the economy and environment. So, it’s a positive prospect to convert into electric mobility. It’s also good to know that investments have started to roll into the electric vehicle sector.
