The main reason is that JazzCash is basically a product of Mobilink which was previously called MobiCash. After the merger of Mobilink and Warid in 2015 a new company Jazz was formed and definitely their users increased. Jazz is the big company and JazzCash is only available for Jazz Sim users.
As per 2018 quarterly report issued by the state bank, the number of transactions are more than 60% through JazzCash while Telenor has only 28.9% of transactions.

Which One Is Better?
JazzCash and Easypaisa both are having some benefits and limitations. JazzCash is only available for Jazz sim users but Easypaisa can be used on any sim. Both JazzCash and Easypaisa have apps on google play store but the user interface of the Easypaisa app is much more appealing and helpful as compared to the JazzCash app.
JazzCash also doesn’t have many offers for its audience but they are bringing different innovations and features like Payoneer with the passage of time. On the other hand, Easypaisa has many more offers and discounts for its audience and it is easily available everywhere. International payments are not provided by any of them. Moreover, Easypaisa’s rates are cheaper then JazzCash rates.
Choosing between two would be easy as per your requirement. Because if you are a freelancer then go for JazzCash otherwise you can use Easypaisa. so it’s entirely up to your taste.
Our Mushwarah:
Our mushwarah is to use both. The benefit of using both is that many offers that are offering a 10% discount on JazzCash may be offering a 15% discount on Easypaisa or vice versa. So, it’s good to have both accounts specially when they are free to open.
