Jokes apart, Ramadan is a month of blessing but this time because of coronavirus we have to stay at home. So, here we are with our mushwarah on how to spend Ramadan in this Quarantine.
Spending Ramadan in this Quarantine:
No doubt, many people are not very excited this time because of lockdown. But we got some extra time that we can use for our personal growth and development. So, here are the things by doing which you can spend this Ramadan effectively in this quarantine.
Read The Quran:
The Quran is our holy book and we are reading this holy book since our childhood but this Ramadan try something different. Read the Quran with translation for developing your understanding on different topics. Don’t be like other people who just try to finish the Quran in Ramadan. Try to understand the meaning and message in it. So, after Suhur read Quran with translation.
Offer Salah and Tarawih:
For Salah, you can offer it at your home. As you cannot go out so try to offer salah with your family in Congregational. We are living in a digital environment so there are many other opportunities also. You can also offer Tarawih by listening and following the imam on Tv or on mobile devices.
Exercise is very important specially in Ramadan. For a healthy mind and body, you have to do exercise. In Ramadan, the best time for exercise is after Tarawih. You can do indoor bodyweight exercises for keeping your body in shape.
Stay at Home:
Do not go outside unnecessary. It’s an opportunity and you can spend your time at home. It will not only protect you from the coronavirus but also saves you from the burning heat of the sun. The matter of fact is some doctors also suggest that you have to drink water for keeping your throat wet, in this way the chances of getting ill by coronavirus would be minimized. But you can not do that during fasting. So don’t take the risk and stay at home.
Avoid Oily Foods:
Ramadan is the best month for developing new habits and leaving the bad one. So, avoid eating oily products during iftar. Don’t bring samosa or any other related products from outside. You can make all these items at home as well.
As usual this time again Ramadan is coming in summer. So, you have to drink and eat healthy products on suhoor and Iftar. Try to break your fast with dates, salt or water. After that, you can try those drinks that will hydrate your body.
Get Good Sleep:
Sleeping habits of many people got disturbed in Ramadan therefore, try to go to bed early. In this way, you will wake up early. Moreover, don’t just limit this routine for the Ramadan but try to adopt it as your daily routine.
