How to Spend Last Ten Nights of Ramzan?
After knowing the facts, we should plan our worship accordingly. Mostly, people remain in Itikaf to find the Qadr and that is the best way to submit oneself to Him. During Itikaf, the person is not allowed to leave their place for undue means and spend their time worshipping Allah. Males and females, both can sit in Itikaf. Males need to observe Itikaf in Masjid but females can stay at home at a specific place.
Apart from this, reciting Quran is crucially important and not only to read it but understand the meaning of Quranic verses. Later on, one should implement the sayings of the Holy Quran. Addition to this, the worshipper can offer Nafali (Non- Obligatory) prayers. These Nafali prayers are additional Rakats other than the obligatory prayers’ Rakats.
Other than this, the worshipper should ask for forgiveness by reciting the Dua of Third Ashra.
اَللَّهُمَّ اِنَّكَ عَفُوٌّ ، تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُ عَنِّي
Translation: “O Allah, You are most Forgiving and You love forgiveness; so forgive me” (Tirmidhi)
Furthermore, the worshipper should avoid wasting time and give more charity. We all have plenty of resources to waste our time on i.e. social media and talking to any persons for hours, etc. but we need to stay away from these resources.
Every good act is rewarded more in these nights. Therefore, one should spend more time doing good deeds. We wish that all of us get this blessed night- Layla-tul-Qadr.
