Naran Valley

Naran Valley is God’s most precious gift to Pakistan.

Location:

Naran valley is situated in an upper Kaghan valley. This valley is a part of Khyber Pakhtun khwa province of Pakistan. It is one of the most beautiful parts of northern areas in Pakistan. Naran valley has 2500 meters of height. Its beauty captures a lot of people towards itself.

Weather:

The weather in Naran Valley is very cold. The ice on the mountain tops never melts. There are glaciers and mountains are covered with snow in the month of June and July. Its weather is relaxable than other hill stations.

Is there any river across in this valley?

The answer is yes, River Kunhar passes through Naran valley. Some hotels are also situated at the bank of the river. At night you can hear the sound of water flowing. That sound gives great pleasure. Some people just sit by the river. And put their feet under the cool water. You will feel dark in Naran valley in the afternoon because these high mountains will stop sunlight to reach in the valley. River Kunhar is also one of the biggest rivers in Pakistan than all other rivers. The speed of this river is too fast because of the height.

Lakes in Naran Valley:

There are a lot of lakes in this valley. There are more lakes in this valley than another. Some beautiful of major lakes are given below;

Saiful Malook Lake:

Saiful Malook is situated 8 kilometers north of Naran. It takes 1 hour to reach the Saiful Malook from Naran.  Jeeps take the tourists from Naran valley to  Saiful Malook. There are restaurants and shops located at Saiful Malook aswell. People enjoy horse riding there. Saiful Malook is situated in the middle of the mountains. The color of the water is blue and it is crystal clear. This is the beautiful lake than all Pakistan lakes.

Ansu Lake:

Ansu Lake is a tear-shaped high altitude lake. People do hicking from Saiful Malook to Ansu lake. This is the best hicking place in Pakistan than others.

Lalazar:

Lalazar is the land of beautiful flowers. Due to the recent cultivation of crops such as potatoes and other vegetables, the natural beauty of this place has declined.

Culture:

The local languages of Naran Valley are Hindko and Gojri. But every individual over there can speak and understand Urdu. The dress is Shalwar kameez with long bottom shalwars. The main items of Naran valley are dry fruits and Handicrafts. Dues to its culture, its people are nice in nature.

What could the Best Possible Time be to visit Naran Valley?

The best time to visit Naran would be the late spring months of June – August. Make sure to avoid the extreme winter months of December and January.

Conclusion:

In the end, I say that I had never seen this type of beauty ever. I think Naran is “Heaven on Earth” because this valley is full of lakes, mountains, and waterfalls. Naran is God’s most precious gift to Pakistan and its people. This valley is better than abroad hill stations. So, go and visit this natural heaven. This is the best hill station in Pakistan than others.
